As fresher’s week finishes for another year, what’s left behind is a full term of class. Oh and a whole lot of fresher’s flu. Amongst the sniffling and coughing you’ve still got to look your part.
I caught this Fashionista on her way to her first set of lectures, wearing mostly vintage her style subtly stood out from the crowd. I really liked the way she wore a baggy shirt as a kimono. ASOS has a great autumnal kimono, easy to throw on for a set of lectures. This Fashionista’s cami is hugely popular and versatile this season. It can be worn tucked in to some high-waisted jeans or like this Fashionista, over a denim skirt. Look out for all the variety of colours that Topshop do.
An outfit isn’t complete without some jewelery. A long necklace adds interest to a plain top. This cross necklace from River Island was hugely popular last season and is here to stay for the winter. However, this season is all about the retro sunglasses. Although it’s fall, the sun can still shine. These Fashionista’s are vintage but you can get a similar pair from Forever 21.
One Simple Change: To turn this autumnal look into a winter night out just add some ankle boots with a heel and brave your legs without a pair of tights! It would also look great if you added a statement cuff or some bronze chunky bracelets to complement the necklace.
