WHAT TO WEAR: Class

If you live in the south, you know that we don’t really have a fall until after the first of the year, which can make dressing for class a little miserable. I get serious FOMO when I see all of my favorite bloggers talking about layering and the cool weather up north when I’m stuck with 90-degree weather, dripping in sweat.

Luckily, down here we are able to get a little extra use out of those denim shorts that everyone else has packed away already. This Fashionista is taking advantage of the hot weather by pairing her cut-off shorts with a striped cotton T-shirt and strappy sandals. She added a touch of fun to her outfit by knotting her shirt up to expose some light distressing on her shorts and allowing a little bit of her lacy bralette to show. The few dainty silver accessories she added are simple additions as well to make the look appear completed, yet remain understated enough for class. No outfit is 100 percent complete without a pair of colorful oversized sunglasses to keep it fun and flirty. Finally, with the crazy hot days in Georgia, by pulling her hair into a messy bun this Fashionista is able to stay cool and casual while showing off some of her accessories.

Part of living in the south is dealing with a 20-plus degree drop between the middle of the day and the evening. In order to take this look from class to the streets, you can change out the cut-offs for black distressed skinny jeans and add some killer sneakers. Viola! As easy as that, you have a great, laid-back street style look for a night out.
