WHAT TO WEAR: Class

In Syracuse, you know that the school year is coming to a close from three clues: the sun is shining (and it’s above 10 degrees), people are sunbathing on the quad and students campus wide have blown the dust off their summer wardrobe as they don their shorts, T-shirts and dresses.

Waking up early for class is still not fun, but the warmer weather makes it easier (and more exciting!) to get dressed in time for your 9:00 a.m. class. When it comes to comfort, dresses are the way to go. A colored spring dress like the one this Fashionista is sporting is the perfect choice for warmer days. Spring is definitely the time to reach out of your comfort zone and try new styles in different colors and prints. Is the sun out but still chilly? Pair it with a cropped jean jacket and simple aviator sunglasses-staples in any Fashionista’s closet.

To keep this look casual and trendy, yet comfortable for a long day of classes, partner it with any pair of your favorite sneakers. I love finding different sneakers, but having at least one neutral pair allows you to explore more with your outfit. To add to this look, choose simple jewelry, but feel free to stack on the bracelets and wear a few rings.

Don’t be fooled by a few warm days, as it probably will become cold again in an instant, but take advantage of the days when you can branch away from the winter attire you’ve been stuck wearing for the past five months!

One Simple Change: Have to be somewhere after class? By adding a pair of ankle boots, you’re sure to be prepared for anything-an interview, work or dinner with friends.
