WHAT TO WEAR: Class

March 29th, 2016 at 2:00am

As the month of April approaches, we patiently wait for warmer weather, shorter hemlines and pretty pastels. At this point in the semester, Spring Break has come to an end, which means it’s the time of the year when we start wondering why we didn’t start working on that final project when it was assigned to us back in February. As things begin to become more hectic in your schedule this month in preparation of finals week, dressing for class usually seems to be an afterthought when attempting to make it to your dreaded 8:00 a.m. on time.

When trying to figure out what to wear for your long day spent on campus, remember that comfort should always be your first priority. For outfit inspiration, look no further than this Fashionista. Mixing comfort and wardrobe essentials is key when creating a look that will leave you stylish for both your morning and night classes.

As seen on this Fashionista, a black, cotton bodycon dress is perfect to help you make it through the day. For those of us who have classes all day, the last thing you want to be stuck in is a tight pair of skinny jeans. Not only are bodycon dresses extremely comfortable, they’re a wardrobe essential that can be taken from day to night, depending on how they’re styled. As demonstrated by this Fashionista, pairing the dress with a classic denim jacket makes the look daytime chic. To add some flare to your jacket, add a couple pins to better show your personality.

Along with putting together an outfit, finding the time to do your hair can sometimes seem to be an even greater struggle. If you’re tired of throwing your hair up into a ponytail or half bun every day, opt for a cute baseball hat! If baseball teams aren’t your forte, you’re still in luck. In this case, you still have the option to wear a baseball hat promoting your favorite rapper (and Twitter user). This semester, put your black JanSports aside and give your outfit a pop of color with a fun backpack to carry all of your necessities in. Last but certainly not least, finish your outfit off with your favorite pair of sneakers. Being on your feet for most of the day, you will later thank yourself for pairing your outfit with a pair of sneakers for a sporty look.

One Simple Change: Going out after class and looking to take this outfit from day to night? Simply lose the jean jacket and swap it with your favorite leather jacket to make for a sleek and edgy look!
