WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Most of the time, winter is the most dreadful thing on earth at Bradley University. You know those days where you seriously consider staying in bed all day to avoid walking to class in the icy cold weather? It’s absolutely the worst feeling in the world! Well luckily for us, there have been a few unbearably cold days this year which means you can bundle up a little less.
This Fashionista’s outfit is on point when it comes to staying comfortable and stylish for sitting through a long day of classes. She’s wearing a simple black top with long sleeves that will keep her warm while sitting in class. Her olive green jeans add a perfect pop of color to her neutral outfit, which makes her look go from drab to fab. This Fashionista knows that simplicity is key, so sticking with an outfit that doesn’t have too many layers and prints is a great way to stay focused throughout her busy day of classes.
To add a bit of flair to her simple outfit, this Fashionista placed a silver pendant necklace atop of her black blouse; this really makes the necklace stand out. I love when Fashionistas accessorize their outfits to show off a bit of their personalities. Finally, she decided to wear a simple pair of combat boots to ensure that her feet stay snug and comfortable all day long. The light color of the boots against the darker color of the pants adds just the right amount of contrast to make each piece stand out.
When sitting in class, we want to ensure that we won’t be too uncomfortable, but sweatpants and sweatshirts are serious fashion no-go’s! We want to make a good impression and look presentable for our professors, because it’s a major sign of respect. Just remember how chic you’ll look standing out from the crowd of crewneck sweatshirts and leggings.
One Simple Change: Take this look from class to brunch, by switching out the combat boots for a pair of peep toe heeled booties, and switch out the pants for a colored pencil skirt. The heeled booties will instantly dress up your outfit and elongate your legs, and the skirt will look more dressy while still adding that pop of color. Add a sleek vest to create some layers and dimension to the simple black top. These items will tie your look together to create the perfect dressy outfit without looking too much.
