WHAT TO WEAR: Class

During these cold winter months, it becomes extremely difficult to dress appropriately and be stylish at the same time. It becomes so easy, as the second semester of the school year and the cold weather comes upon us, that most of us would love to wake up and throw sweatpants and a hoodie on. What we wear says a lot about us to the people around us that is why it is important to bundle up, but in a chic way. A neutral or a fun- colored jacket and adding the right accessories can always allow you to stay warm and look amazing in these cold winter months. This Fashionista did an excellent job with staying warm and adding color to spice the neutral tones that she chose for her outfit.

This Fashionista is dressed from head to toe in a little something different. She found this chic peacoat a few seasons ago at Old Navy. It is amazing how many different places you can find more affordable pieces that look expensive. Of course, we all love our investment pieces ,but it’s always nice when we are able to find more affordable options, especially being college students on a budget. I really love how this Fashionista added an infinity scarf and beanie to accompany the cold weather while accessorizing to make her look fun. Since everything she has on is neutral and within the same color palette, her boots and backpack really added the extra pop of color that her outfit needed and that’s what I liked the most about it. Chic and practical are two things that came to mind when I spotted this Fashionista. I am a big fan of color, but we all need to have neutrals in our wardrobes and that is simply because they go with everything. I adored how this Fashionista used neutral tones and fun pops of color to make a statement, it really caught my eye.

One Simple Change: If you are going from a day-to-night look, you can always add a little extra edge by swiping out the peacoat for a leather jacket and the winter boots for some combat boots and still rock the scarf and beanie to have just the right amount edge.
