WHAT TO WEAR: Class

February 8th, 2016 at 2:00am

With the holiday shopping sales behind us, it is time to stop staring at your clothes and start actually wearing them! While yes, wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt would be SO much more comfortable, especially in the cold, it is a proven fact that getting dressed for any class puts you at an advantage for doing better! Trust me, we all know how hard it is, but this Fashionista’s outfit is giving off major inspiration!

Jeans are a staple in any outfit. They work well with any shape sweater, jacket or even shoe. This Fashionista rocks a pair of ripped jeans that fray at the ankle. The casual feel of the ripped jeans perfectly balance the dressed up feel of the sweater. The layered look from the sweater keeps up with current trends and adds texture from both the pleated underpinning and the speckled black and white fabric. Last, but certainly not least, the outfit is completed with black, lace-up high-tops rimmed with fur. The subtle sneaker matches the black on the sweater while keeping the look comfortable.

No outfit is complete without the perfect accessories. This Fashionista stands out in a sea of black backpacks with her army green, leather bag with chains. You need to carry your books around for 10 months, so you might as well do it with style and stand out! To top it all off, her maroon knit hat with the fur pom-pom adds color, texture and fun to the whole look!

This Fashionista definitely stopped staring blankly at her closet, like most of us do, and started dressing for success! Now it’s time for you to hide the sweatpants and sweatshirts and start finding comfort and motivation in getting dressed for class!

One Simple Change: Is it getting too cold out? Throw on a scarf, a pair of gloves and a big black jacket to keep you warm! Adding as many layers as you need will bundle you up but still keep your outfit looking stylish.
