Being a full-time student, having a full-time job and an internship is something that I am pretty sure most people that can relate and agree that is very, VERY hard to balance. Now add dating to that…is almost impossible. I feel like in college you go to a lot of casual dates because there is not a lot of time or money for fancy dates out in the city. To tell you the truth, I think trying to decide for a casual date outfit is complicated. You have to really think about how to look cute an casual at the same time, and you have to be really careful to choose what you are wearing, cause you might not be sitting down giving your feet a break from the heels as you would if you where out in a fancy date night where you go to a restaurant.
This week’s Fashionista was wearing a very cute yet appropriate outfit for a casual date night! The weather here in Texas is still a little confusing, so the trick is in layering, and she was a pro a it. She was wearing a very cute flared dress that had a red and blue stripes print, this silhouette looks good on most body types. If you’d like to get a similar style, check out this one from Gap. She decided to pair the dress with a pair of brown knee high leather boots, and layer the dress with a cute military jacket that is the perfect choice to dress it down and make it look more casual. This Fashionista was on point when it came to accessorizing. Even though she was wearing a low heel boot and paired her dress with a military jacket, she made the whole look by having the right accessories. Talk about arm candy. She was wearing an oversized gold tone chronograph watch paired with a wrap bracelet and a beautiful vivid yellow kate spade bag. If you want this watch you can find it here and you can find a very similar bag here.
One Simple Change: If you want to make this dress work for a Fancy Date Night, trade those boots for a cute pair of heels, a chunky necklace and a leather jacket and you are ready to go .
