Spring semester is a busy and exciting time for graduating seniors. We are enjoying the last few months of our undergrad careers, and are ready to start the next chapter in our lives. This next chapter includes lots of different and exciting things; one of which is finding a job. Luckily, some of the stress of finding a job is taken away with the help of the career fair and counselors. During these fairs and meetings, it is key to dress to impress and stand out when networking with future employers.
The Fashionista is dressed to impress in her gingham print trousers. Her green sweater adds a pop of color, and her jelly heels keep the look professional, while remaining fun and young. I love that her outfit is very professional, but still shows off her personality and style without being so serious.
Gingham is one of my favorite prints, and is a big one for this coming spring season. It was seen all over the catwalk from Derek Lam to Balmain. Give the trend a try by working this tank into your wardrobe! Paired with a high-waisted skirt or trousers and blazer on top, it’ll be perfect for the career fair. The jelly shoe trend worn by our Fashionista is as popular as ever, and celebrities like Elle Fanning have been seen rocking it too. Not only are these shoes super popular, but they are also an awesome throw back to the ’90s. Last but not least, the most important accessory you can have while attending the career fair is confidence.
One Simple Change: Swap the sweater for a crop top, and you are ready for a night out with the ladies!
