WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch is Always a Good Idea

I don’t know about you, but Sundays are my favorite day of the week solely for one reason: brunch. There’s nothing better than dressing up and enjoying a beautiful Sunday morning with your friends, sipping mimosas, and catching up about the past week’s events. What I look forward to the most during brunch dates, though, is seeing what my friends are wearing. They never cease to amaze me with their fashionable and stylish outfit choices!

The best brunch outfit is trendy AND comfy, and your options are basically endless. Dresses are always a great go-to for any brunch date and can easily be dressed up with a cute pair of booties and a lightweight cardigan. Denim skirts are all the rage right now and are also a perfect staple for your brunch wardrobe because they are casual yet versatile.

This Fashionista’s outfit is the perfect brunch look. Her dark ripped jeans and patterned flowy shirt make for the perfect relaxed look. The subtle high-neck and cold shoulder details in her top compliment the ripped knee detail in her jeans. Her lighter colored booties match perfectly with the whole outfit, and because they are a lighter color they do not distract from her top at all. The peep-toe of the bootie mirrors her ripped jeans perfectly and creates a subtle element of symmetry that is pleasing to the eye.

Since she lives in Florida, this Fashionista doesn’t necessarily need a warm outfit for brunch during the winter months. This look could easily be modified for chillier weather by adding a light-colored overcoat and a pair of closed-toed, or even over-the-knee boots to keep her feet warm.

For accessories she kept it simple with a few dainty bracelets and rings. Too much chunky or bold jewelry would clash with her top and cause her look to become off-balance and overwhelming. Her floppy gray hat was the perfect addition to finish her outfit. Feeling comfortable and confident, she is ready to take the brunch world by storm in this awesome look!
