WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

With the weather in limbo trying to figure out if it wants to be spring or keep us bundled up, this Fashionista balances her outfit perfectly for the weird weather. Amidst a gentle breeze and direct sun, I was able to chat with this Fashionista about her outfit. What immediately caught my eye about this Fashionista’s look was her bold topknot bun and John Lennon-inspired Ray-Ban sunglasses. This combo is one of my favorite go-to’s, and fits perfectly for brunch attire.

Once I approached this Fashionista, I fell even more in love with her outfit choice. After a few minutes of swooning over her look, I noticed her suede booties. They reminded me of the Jeffrey Campbell rumble bootie but I actually like hers better. With a small heel and taupe hue, they are the perfect versatile bootie for myriad occasions and can pair with many color combinations. She paired her shoes flawlessly with a pair of boyfriend jeans.

This Fashionista’s favorite aspect of her look is her oversized cowl-neck sweater because it’s super comfortable and chic all at once. Rounding out the outfit is an off-white cross-body bag which she found at a local vintage boutique. The look overall shouts casual, comfortable and chic.

One Simple Change: Don’t think you can pull off the heeled booties to class? Throw the heels aside and swap for some comfortable white high-top Converse. Obviously you’ll need a bigger bag, so why not choose a practical reversible leather tote? This look is very versatile and completely comfortable for class and wandering around campus.
