WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

Ok, but first, brunch.

Why might you ask? Because everyone’s new favorite meal allows us to Instagram our avocado toast and oozing egg yolks, gossip about the previous night’s events and take sun-lit pictures in our reflective sunglasses, all while wearing our newest trendy outfits. No wonder groups of girls flock to restaurants every Saturday and Sunday at 11a.m.

Our Fashionista nails this effortless morning look by mixing the “I was asleep 30 minutes ago” vibe with a chic, put together finish. She pairs a simple Polo t-shirt with a faux wrap skort, embellished with an exaggerated D-ring buckle loop. The T-shirt is reminiscent of your pajamas in the early morning hours, but still looks polished when tucked in. The wrap skort allows some extra room post-food baby, but brings the sophistication level of a DVF dress. Our Fashionista polishes off the entire look with black pointy-toe ankle boots, which are having a moment themselves in the fashion industry.

Brunch does not have to be a nice weather only ordeal. This look could be easily winterized by adding sheer black tights, a bright or patterned wool coat and a pompom hat. It could also be perfect for the fall if worn with knee-high boots and a cardigan sweater.

One Simple Change: Looking to go cheer on your favorite team after your eggs benny? Change out the ankle boots for clean, white sneakers and throw on a baseball hat repping your team’s logo, and you will be good to go for the pre-game tailgate.
