WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

It’s that time of year again when the sun is finally out and every second that isn’t spent outdoors feels like time wasted. I am back home for Spring Break, and 70-degrees and sunny has never felt so good. With such glorious weather, brunch dates are a common occurrence in my neighborhood. Maxi dresses, wedges and floppy hats are all typical pieces to wear and can be paired with your favorite go-to bag. This Fashionista is on her way to brunch, and rocks her spring ready attire with a floral print and a pop of color.

Although she has the “all-black-everything” look, she doesn’t forget to throw on her spring essentials. Simple things like a retro, colorful purse can add so much to your outfit. If you are like me, you love wearing all black and lack the desire to ever buy anything of color. A purse that adds a pop of color will be put to good use, just as much as those black jeans you wear everyday. Even if you don’t wear all-black on the daily, a colorful purse is a great investment to mix and match your outfits for any season! You can go for a real pop of color or something a little more subtle that still catches the eye.

The great thing about spring is all the cute prints that are displayed in shops and worn in different ways. This Fashionista wears a floral print that complements her braided belt. A light cardigan never can go out of style and can be put to good use when warmth isn’t a priority. Thankfully, spring wear provides us with so many different ways to wear colorful prints. Consider a romper, one of my favorites, as your go-to outfit this spring. It is a ready-to-wear outfit that you can just throw on whether you are running late for brunch or just need to run some errands. This Fashionista tops off her look with a spring essential: the floppy hat. The floppy hat is a must to block out the sun, but you can’t deny that it completely enhances this Fashionista’s brunch attire.

One Simple Change: Want to make this outfit last a little bit longer? Throw on a thick wrap around scarf so you can take this outfit from morning to night on a busy day of catching up with friends.
