WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

Sunday means something different to everyone. Maybe you begin your day with worship, maybe you sleep in or go on a run. Whatever you might decide, every Sunday has something in common: brunch. Brunch is the time of day when is too late to show up in a “just rolled out of bed” look, but too early to go for the full fledged night out ensemble. Instead, this Fashionista shows us how we can look fab in minutes with a few simple staples.

If you don’t have a good pair of jeans already, invest now. At the core of this look is the jeans. Without the casual vibe of the jeans, the look would not be the same. In order to take the casual denim up a notch, a light sweater in a neutral color with some fringe and a cowl neck makes for a classy and sophisticated brunch look. Although there is not much more to this outfit, the accessories are a major must. A pair of micro-heeled boots, hoop earrings and a necklace make the Fashionista stand out as being extremely put together. These small add-ons take no extra effort, and transform your post-party haze into a refined glow.

One Simple Change: To take this look from brunch to a girl’s night out, ditch the jeans and swap them out for a black knee-length pencil skirt. Throw your hair up into trendy chignon bun at the nape of your neck to show off your earrings, and you’re good to go out with your gal pals!
