WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

Brunching has become an activity enjoyed by multitudes of college students. It has become a ritual for some and a necessity for many. With so many brunching establishments to choose from, one question still remains: what do you wear? Whether you have had a good night’s sleep or had barely any, Fashionista style is still crucial when grabbing a bite to eat with friends or your parents.

This Fashionista decided to go with a classic look for brunch with her parents. Her outfit choice is on the formal side, but not too formal. Her skort romper is perfect to slip into for brunch. The top is cream, while the bottom is a heather gray. The color combo is subtle, but it adds just enough contrast to the outfit for it to stand out. Her small, cross-body bag is a versatile, neutral color that can easily go with many other outfit choices. Her dainty, bracelet adds some simple sparkle to the outfit, as well as some color. Her yellow sandals add a small pop of color to her outfit as well.

What really stands out in this outfit, however, are the cuts and style of the romper. The layered angles in the front of the skirt-short combo make for clean, formal lines. The fact that the back is shorts and that it is one piece make it easy to slip on in the morning for brunch. There will be no fuss in the morning trying to figure out what top goes with what bottoms. The pockets are also a huge plus of the design, and add a convenient element without turning it too casual. The high neckline of the romper also gives off classy vibes.

When out to brunch with friends or family, if you are looking for a classy look, a clean-cut romper is an easy solution to outfit woes.

One Simple Change: Planning on going on a date later on? Simply add some lipstick and strappy heels to give the look a more night-time feel.
