WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

July 15th, 2015 at 2:00am

Looking to go to a fun outing with your best girlfriends, but still want to look your best? Brunch is a good excuse to dress up while eating delicious food. It’s also a time to catch up with your friends and their summer plans. Don’t forget to document this fun summer morning by posting on social media websites. Let’s face it an outing with your friends is always a time to remember. This Fashionista sports her cute brunch look with a sharp black maxi dress, blue denim jacket and a floppy tan straw hat. Also her simple brown strapped sandals tie the look together giving it a casual, but still dressy enough to sit down at a nice Sunday brunch.

This Fashionista is bringing the fun to brunch by wearing her black maxi dress. She is also wearing her favorite arm candy with her dress that includes her gold monogram necklace, ring and gold bracelets. The maxi dress gives her length to her look by making her legs longer. The V-neck allows her to show a little skin that is always essential for a hot summer day. Her blue denim jacket provides a look of color, instead of just sticking to black from her dress. The cuffed sleeves allow her room to show off her jewelry too. The tan straw hat adds a stylish and fashionable look, as she appears at the restaurant. You won’t miss her because she is looking the part of a pulled together Fashionista. Her bubbly personality goes along with her fun but casual look. To end this fabulous outfit she is wearing brown strapped sandals with well polished nails. Even though this Fashionista is sad to say goodbye to her friends, it’s been a delightful morning because she feels good about how she is dressed.

One Simple Change: Looking for something to do after a fun brunch with your friends? How about you cross off some of your shopping errands with this comfortable and relaxed look. Try switching the maxi dress to a patterned romper and put on Vans shoes for a more comfy and manageable look.

I am currently a student at St. Norbert College, studying Communication with a Media Concentration. Even though I go to a school in Wisconsin or what I like to call it the “Cheese State”, Illinois will always stay close to my heart because that is where I was born and raised as a kid. I enjoy taking vacations with my family and going to concerts with my friends. I like anything that is the color pink and one of my favorite places to shop at is J.Crew. I would describe my style as girly, preppy, comfortable and fun. I look forward to another fun summer as a Style Guru at CollegeFashionista. Here's to a rad summer, Molly
