What to Wear

When I think of going to brunch, I think of sunny Sunday mornings, downtown cafes and flowery centerpieces. Few things are better than eating a hybrid of breakfast and lunch with a cup of coffee on the side. Because the weather is getting a little bit warmer, it’s easier to wear lighter and spring themed clothes, which I know I’ve been craving all winter. Brunch is the perfect place to show off a new spring outfit. This Fashionista shows you what to wear for next Sunday morning’s adventures.

A cardigan can take you a long way. You can put it over anything: a dress, a T-shirt or in this case, a tunic. Because hers is teal, it can be worn year round, but it’s also perfect for a bright spring morning. Under the cardigan, she wears a white woven tunic. Instead of taking the boring route, like wearing a knit camisole, this Fashionista added some interest with her top, which has a ruffle lining the neckline and a tied waist.

Jeans that look like they’re spray painted on one’s body is not as trendy as they used to be. The black jeans that this Fashionista is wearing are perfect because they fit like cropped dress pants and they look fantastic. Finally, the shoes of this Fashionista are absolutely awesome. The light blue and white stripped printed flats complement the teal cardigan perfectly. And just when you thought they couldn’t get any cuter, you see the beaded fish embroidered on the front of them. Spring is finally here.

One Simple Change: If you have a casual date later that night, switch out the flats for some stilettos to make the outfit a little bit more fancy.
