After a fun-filled weekend, Sunday rolls around and Fashionistas often find themselves wandering to the best brunch places in town. With the bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s flowing, a Fashionista must feel and look refreshed for a classy brunch outing.
Brunching is definitely considered a “sport” and brings so many opportunities to throw together a spectacular outfit. The minute I hear the word brunch, I think of posh floppy hats and rich colors. This Fashionista happens to be representing my vision beautifully.
She has on a deep green pant romper from Like Mynded. The pant romper is fantastic for any brunch occasion because it is light and easy to slip on. Also, the romper’s deep green hue is combined with a pattern full of deep purples and pretty shades of blue. These color combinations are perfect to wear during the spring season.
Sometimes particular rompers are hard to wear, because they either swallow you whole or the pant leg may be too long. However, this Fashionista did the right thing by pairing her romper with black Steve Madden platform pumps. The Steve Madden pumps create the illusion of having super long legs; it elongates her body beautifully.
The cherry on top to this Fashionista’s brunch outfit is her choice of accessories. Her black felt floppy hat is from Anthropologie. This piece transforms her outfit and is completely on trend with the new craze of floppy hats. They are a fun piece that can add a girly flare to any outfit. I also love how she chose to wear a long beaded necklace from Nordstrom and simple gold jewelry to match. This Fashionista has just the right amount of jewelry to match the strong pattern on the romper. Plus, her hot pink nail polish will look fabulous while holding a champagne flute filled with a tasty mimosa.
One Simple Change: To transform the look, get rid of the floppy hat and add a skinny brown belt to the waist. Also, swap the black pumps for a pair of gold gladiator sandals to complete a simple lunch outfit while on vacation.
