What to Wear

While during the weekend, most college students focus most on the dresses and heels they will wear out at night, everyone needs to own some more conservative outfits for their Sunday activities. There’s no better feeling then going out to brunch on Sunday morning with your best friends and hearing everyone’s stories from the weekend. While it may just be a lazy Sunday, looking good is still a priority.

This Fashionista was spotted on her way to brunch wearing a multicolored cotton high-low dress, a navy cardigan and a pair of white gladiators. She then accessorized her casual outfit with a silver necklace. This Fashionista picked the perfect outfit for brunch, because while she did wear a dress, the cotton material dressed it down, making it the perfect attire for a casual brunch. Also, her high-low dress was multicolored so she only incorporated one simple necklace since the dress was detailed enough. In order to make her attire more conservative, she added a navy cardigan, which covered her shoulders and took away from the multicolored design on the dress.

High-low dresses have gone from a fad to a fashion statement as they have remained in style for quite a while now. They are perfect for many occasions because they come in many different colors, patterns and materials. High-low dresses show the perfect amount of skin, while remaining elegant and classy and they are perfect for the warm weather. A girl can never own too many!

Overall, this Fashionista definitely got her Sunday brunch look correct and rocked her high-low dress. If she looked this great for a casual brunch I can only imagine what kind of outfit she has in store for a formal event.

One Simple Change: While this high-low dress was perfect for this Fashionista’s casual brunch, you could easily keep the same look for a more formal event. By simply replacing the cotton high-low dress with a chiffon dress and booties or wedges. This way you dress up the outfit and can wear it to many more formal events.
