WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

February 22nd, 2016 at 2:00am

There are few things I look forward to more than brunch on a Saturday or Sunday (or any day, really). How can a day not be great when it starts off with the sun shining, blueberry granola pancakes in front of you and a bellini in hand? This is exactly what the weekend calls for. To me, brunch is no joke, and your get up is just as important as the Instagramable avocado toast you ordered.

This Fashionista’s look was made for brunch. Her white, lace top is all I could ask for in life. The flowy silhouette is as carefree as the start to her weekend. I absolutely adore how she added a pop of color to her outfit by wearing a pink bralette underneath. She then paired it with light blue bell-bottom denim to keep her look light, fresh and fashionable. It’s difficult to find the perfect balance between a flowy top and flared jeans, but this Fashionista knew exactly what she was doing. The free flowing body of the shirt kept its shape, while her jeans had just the amount of flare.

This Fashionista kept her jewelry to the minimum to keep the attention on the boho vibes she aimed for. Her light tan sandals maintained this ’70s look, which is ideal for brunch on a sunny patio. The two-inch heel offers the perfect height so that this Fashionista’s jeans hang just right, and she can explore the city after brunch.

One Simple Change: If it’s an exceptionally warm day and jeans just aren’t doing it for you, try sporting a pair of light denim shorts to maintain the look, but also keep you cool. This way, you can get your tan on while enjoying brunch!
