WHAT TO WEAR: Brunch

What to Wear

As the holidays are approaching, planning trips back home should be a number one priority. Catching up with old friends and family is a must, and what better opportunity than this upcoming holiday break? I find that during this time of year, restaurants come out with seasonal menu items that will make your mouth water and stomach grumble. With this in mind, going out for Brunch at your favorite hometown spot is the ideal setting for a get together with old friends. Forget the calories and cherish the memories you make this season: you deserve it.

With metallic making a big impression this season, the subtle detailing incorporated into this Fashionista’s outfit is a standout. Every girl deserves a basic ballet flat that she can slip on and off in a moment’s time. This Fashionista’s pointed toe, black flat is a very feminine and sophisticated style of shoe. The added bronze studs along the top and side of this flat are the kind of simple embellishments that will individualize your outfit.

In keeping with metallic detailing, the gold chain and clasp on this Fashionista’s white and black cross-body bag is a great addition to this ensemble. Though I’m normally a fan of a colored handbag (especially aside a solid colored top and bottom) the white makes this look clean and fresh. The added gold chain also brings out the buttons along her cream blouse.

One Simple Change: Looking for something less casual? Turn this Brunch look into a trendy dinner ‘fit by swapping this blouse for a long sleeve crop top.
