“It’s my birthday and I’ll do what I want to!” That’s all you will ever hear coming from me when September rolls around but even though it’s far from September, this birthday party philosophy generally rings true with any girl. On my birthday all I want to do is feel like a queen, adorn myself in beautiful things and be surrounded by beautiful people. Today’s Fashionista is definitely somebody I would invite to my birthday party because of her unbelievably happy and fun-filled outfit.
Sticking to a warm color scheme and abstract patterns will surely put a smile on anybody’s face; however, I would probably be keener to wear a dress rather than a shorts and shirt combo on my birthday. Something like the NASTY GAL Paradise Found dress or their kaleidoscopic Lavish dress; comfortable, sexy and fun. On top of bright colors and funky patterns, another thing I like to wear on my birthday is some serious statement jewelry. As a birthday party attendee I would recommend adorning yourself in a bold necklace like this stone pharaoh necklace. As the star of the party, go extra wild and put that statement necklace on your head as a make-shift crown or you could just invest in an ornate jeweled headband, or better yet ask for it as a present.
Lastly but certainly not least is the shoes. Whether you’re throwing a party within the confides of your home or plan on going out on the town you don’t want to find yourself wearing shoes that hurt more than a root canal. You can never go wrong with a classic little black boot, but if you’re more like today’s Fashionista and interested in bringing the party to your feet, try out some Miista Magic Lynn shoes in iridescent silver. No matter what you wear never forget that it’s your birthday and every girl deserves to feel comfortable, sexy and fun being the queen she truly is.
One Simple Change: Somehow, some way an army jacket can change an outfit completely. Throw on this tough troop army jacket to take your whimsical outfit from birthday party fun to class casual.
