One of the very few perks of going back to school is having a reason to revamp my wardrobe for the upcoming fall semester. Although I must admit, it is difficult to get out of my sweats and attempt to look presentable in public again.
With summer coming to a dreadful end, this Fashionista rocks a sundress which is perfect for a back to school outfit. In this horrible humidity Richmond has been suffocating us with lately, a sundress makes the weather a lot more manageable while still looking stylish. Not to mention, they are loose-fitting and comfortable. It’s as if you’re wearing an oversized T-shirt, but much more appealing to the eye.
Our Fashionista’s pink floral sundress from American Eagle Outfitters adds color to her skin tone with the bright colors and patterns. To balance out the brightness, she accessorizes with black sandals and a trendy wool Panama hat that is fashionable for every season because of its material. Panama hats are the newest rage and are great accessories to add to any look. A great place to find one for cheap is H&M as they have plenty different designs available in stock. Our Fashionista chooses silver Alex and Ani bracelets and silver studded earrings with her outfit that corresponds well with her black accessories.
One Simple Change: A simple change that could take this look from back to school to a girl’s night out in the summer is substituting the sandals for a pair of wedges. I would also leave the Panama hat for daywear.
