I think we can all say now that for everyone it is officially—drum roll, please—summer! Bring on the long, hot days filled with freedom and tanning and most importantly, the beach. The bikini bodies and floppy hats, the crashing waves and salty beach hair. It doesn’t get much better than that, my fashion friends.
This Fashionista shows off her beach style on a super hot summer day in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her light and fashionable attire is perfect for the scorching weather and her bright color scheme is the cherry on top of a chic beach day look.
Linen is a fabulous material for summer, especially for the beach, because it is loose and light. Go for the flow when taking on the sand and the sea. The linen material will flutter in the wind, making you look like the beach goddess you are. Another fab move this Fashionista makes to spice up her look is knotting the top. I know this brings us back to the ‘90s when our belly shirts would be our favorite outfits and the little hole in the knot that showed our belly button was so cool—but this look is back and it’s hot. With anything high-waisted these days, you can pull off knotting your top and showing some skin like this Fashionista. Plus, it’s essential for staying cool in the summer heat.
What really drew me to this Fashionista was her canary yellow, wide-legged pants. These loose-fitting and light bottoms are the perfect piece for summer wear—whether you use it to cover up on the beach or to wear for a shopping day, they are awesome. The high-waisted look is obviously fab and the color is eye-popping.
If you hadn’t already noticed, this Fashionista’s accessories are to die for. I’m all about accessorizing for the beach with a funky hat or headband and some big earrings or bangles. Earrings and hats/headbands are the perfect accessory for the beach because you can look fab without the tan lines. This Fashionista rocks a fabulous mixture of bangles and rings with a beautiful pendant around her neck. Her headband does it all by adding color and fun to the look, plus serving the perfect purpose of holding her hair back.
This Fashionista’s ensemble is the absolutely best look for a hot beach day. Light materials, lots of color and funky accessories. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
One Simple Change: This look is also perfect for a music festival. Feeling risky and don’t want the extra material of the pants? Put on a pair of decked-out jean shorts, some extra accessories and a pair of sexy boots and you’re ready.
