Happy graduation! The weather was perfect and my mood was flying. Seeing myself, and all of my friends, in a cap and gown made me very proud! Everyone was dressed up for the big day with big smiles on their face. It still feels like yesterday when I first arrived at Purdue, feeling anxious and excited. Time sure flies and big congratulations to the graduating seniors of 2012!
Our Fashionista today is in a classic outfit. Her white top and black skirt combination was very simple and elegant. She paired them nicely with a fitted blazed. Her bow-decorated flats are utterly cute! The exaggeration of the bow made them very feminine. She topped everything with a couple silver-toned accessories. The outfit reminds me a little bit of Chanel, just perfect for graduation.

CollegeFashionista: Do you like to where a lot of black and white?
Cecilia Ho: Yes, I like to keep it simple.
CF: What do you normally wear to school?
CH: Something more casual, like jeans and a nice top. In the summer I like to wear shorts and flip flops.
CF: What are you favorite stores?
CH: Forever 21, H&M, Urban Outfitters, Steve Madde, the ones that normal girls would like. I shop at Forever 21 a lot. You can get great style with such cheap prices.
How To: Every girl should have a pair of black flats and a black blazer in her wardrobe. They are the absolute classics to invest in and they literally go with everything. I believe they have the power to instantly make any outfit more formal and elegant. This Gibson structured jacket is a very nice piece to look into. Also, consider a vintage-looking blazer from J.Crew that will serve you well. As for shoes, I would definitely purchase these Lula Bow Ballet Flats. They look so comfy and classy! The red pair would also be a good investment. It is the perfect red to pop your outfit. Pointy-toed shoes are in this season, so I would check out these Blink Leather Flats, if you are into that style. Happy pairing and have a great summer!
