The best part of this season is not only being able to wear breezy white dresses, but the fact that colors are popping everywhere, giving us motivation to go from dull to electric. Bright colors that range from yellow to orange are things we spotted on the runway for spring. We can pay thanks to the 90s for those vibrant colors that bring excitement to our life.
From designers such as Miu Miu and Christopher Kane with electric yellow, to Versace and Burberry Prorsum with turquoise, color is the name of the game. With such a beautiful array of colors it’s hard not to be inspired and to not want to set yourself apart in a vivid fuchsia like skirt like Nina Ricci did in her collection.
This week’s Fashionista was spotted wearing a cropped jean jacket in electric yellow paired with a beautiful floral dress with accents of blue and yellow, both from H&M. The yellow in the dress pairs well with the electric yellow in the jacket. The look is finished off with a neutral pair of flats from Charlotte Russe and a brown bag from H&M, both of which coordinate well with the shoes.
Hint: To get this hip look, you can get a flower chiffon dress from Forever 21 and pair it with a Cheap Monday short denim jacket in a light wash from ASOS making the dark colors in the dress pop. To complete this look you can wear a pair of flats like this week’s Fashionista or pair it with a pair of combat boots by Steve Madden.
