My name is Ticiana Furriela, but most people call me Tici. I live in São Paulo, Brazil. I'm a senior in fashion design at Faculdade Santa Marcelina and I've also done summer classes at FIT in New York and at Central Saint Martins in London. I graduate this year in December and it has been 4 long years that have passed by very quickly as well. Life advice of the week: enjoy college as much as you can! As I graduate, I face which fashion area I'll work with, and it's really hard for me to decide because I love to write, style, and photograph along with design and marketing. So, I'm beyond thrilled to be part of CollegeFashionista, because it is my first time writing about fashion officially as a fashion journalist, and I'll learn tons with it.
My personal style is as mixed-up as my head, so everyday I take a different look depending on my mood. Also, I love hi-lo. I think it's great to mix really cheap things with not-so-cheap, and make an incredible look! I mean, you don't need to wear only haute couture designers to look amazing, in fact you don't need to at all! In my opinion, fashion is so fascinating because of all the options that we have, all the styles, colors and the combinations are infinite!
It amazes me how fashion is similar to dreams coming true every season, and hopefully, my dreams will come true each and every season as well.
