ACCESSORIES REPORT: Getting Ethnicool

Uncategorized

It’s winter break in Brasil , so most of the people are out of the town, traveling , and spending time with family and friends. If you are staying at home and don’t have plans to travel, don’t be sad – fashion is here to bring the world to you… why not invest in some ethnic prints to feel like you are in an exotic place?

Ethnic prints became famous in the 70’s , and they are inspired by some indigenous tribes from Africa  and their symbols. They are also very colorful and most of the time geometric. The backpack that today’s Fashionista has on is a good example of how bring some cheer to your routine.  Another thing that is good about it is that the colors aren’t bright, so you don’t get sick of it easily and it is discrete. Mixing prints, like the Fashionita has done, is really hard, but if you choose only one color and then match the prints based on it, it’s better looking and easier to do.

Backpacks are also important to the Fashionista/os who are starting school after summer. When I was I kid, I wanted a different backpack every year. So, printed ones are cool for a year, but if you want for more than that, you should go for solid colors. If you are a print lover though, you can choose from cheetah patterns, geometric, ethnic, or any other that you may like, just make sure that the colors composition match with your taste and wardrobe, and that they aren’t too trendy, otherwise you will get tired of it really quickly. Go prints!
