January is about to end and that means spring is almost here. I love winter, but I can’t deny spring has a very special place in my heart. Besides the fact that my birthday is in spring, I especially enjoy it because it is neither too hot nor too cold. During the mornings, I can wear a nice sweater, take it off through the day and then wear it again when the sun goes down. Another reason I like spring is that I can switch my outfit from day to night just by adding different accessories or a black leather jacket.
It is inevitable to be thinking about spring already, especially in the fashion industry where stores are filled with the new merchandise for the upcoming season. I think it is acceptable to start thinking about clothes for spring.
The main reason I loved the outfit of today’s Fashionisto is because he can fit perfectly on campus, but he can also be the most fashionable person attending to a concert at night. I found him on my way to my French theater class where he was hanging out with his friends outside of the building. He reminded me of a ’70s rock star who is going for a coffee on a free day.
This psychology major Fashionisto knew how to create harmony in his outfit. He combined his sweater and jeans with nice and simple lace-up boots. He added a cool touch to his outfit by adding a sporty jacket. His jacket, with the Capitol Records and EMI America logos, proves how much he loves music. I can tell that he is probably influenced by bands like The Beastie Boys and The Beatles.
According to what I saw during all the fashion shows for this spring 2013, men are going to be spotted in the sporty look without looking gym bound. This Fashionisto is already ahead of the game with his effortlessly cool, sporty-rock look.
One Simple Change: To create a more formal look, just swap the jacket for a tailored blazer. The blazer will give a total different look, and you can even use it to do a presentation at school.
