It’s that time of the year where Fashionistas are pinning photos and collages around their fall boards on Pinterest. Cozy sweaters, hot cider, scarves and the colors red, orange and yellow ring a bell. Out of all those fall favorites, the most beloved item Fashionistas are resurrecting from their closets are boots! I could talk for hours about how much I love boots and how I wish I had an unlimited fund for them, however this isn’t the case for most of us so we have to maximize the ways we can wear our boots. This Fashionista takes a classic pair of cowboy boots and works them perfectly into her fall attire.
Cowboy boots are most notably seen tucked into jeans and worn with a flannel. That is a classic combination, but there are other ways to wear your boots and this Fashionista models one of them. She took a classic pair of cream-colored wool socks and pulled them over her navy skinny jeans and then slid her cowboy boots on. Having your socks peak out from your boots is a fashionable layering technique and a fun alternative to just wearing the classic boot and jeans together. Depending on your personal style you can layer different colored socks to coordinate with your outfit, just make sure they peak out from the top of the boot.
This Fashionista also deserves praise for the fire engine red blazer she wore over a grey T-shirt. Because the jacket is so bold, it’s good to keep the shirt underneath a classic color like grey, black or white. Bold colored blazers are essential items in a Fashionistas closet. They are a refreshing look when compared to the classic black blazer and they are a great way to add some necessary color to your wardrobe. Wear a bold colored blazer with dark jeans and boots like this Fashionista or go from day to night by pairing black or nude pumps with the outfit.
When accessorizing an outfit similar to this Fashionista's, I recommend exactly what she wears. A classic black infinity scarf and a leather shoulder bag complete the outfit without making it seem busy. Looks like the one are the reasons I love fall street style. If only we all had the gorgeous fall scenery to follow us around all day to complement our attire.
