On the fall 2012 runways, headbands are a huge trend to sweep the shows. From elaborate jeweled pieces at Dolce & Gabbana to stretchy sports-style bands at Sonia Rykiel, the styles were definitely varied. On Louis Vuitton's spring 2013 runways, people may be inspired by the bow headbands designed in a Blair Waldorf-way, but I think that they are too cute for a mature woman. Are headbands chic and glamorous or strictly the fodder of school girls? People may be more puzzled after seeing the headbands from Balenciaga’s ready to wear show where the models wore the headbands backwards which seems chic, artful and adorable to adventurous Fashionistas.
This Fashionista is totally a sweetheart wearing a stretched bow headband. With the headband, her look overall is not too boring but added more sweetness. Fashionistas can find a huge amount of interesting and chic headbands in ASOS, my favourite brand. I think the most adorable one is the limited edition pearl cat ear aliceband which is a cat ear-shaped wire band with faux pearl beads and curved tips. Yet if you want to try the Balenciaga style backward headband, you can find an alike hair spikes with hanging chains in ASOS.
