I'm Ellen Hoffman, a junior communications major and a returning Style Guru ready to spot the latest trendsetters on Misericordia University's campus this fall.
As the seasons change from summer to autumn and wardrobes shift from jean shorts and bikinis to cords and blazers, I love watching how people's outfits change to fit the weather. Personally, I like incorporating pieces from my summer collection with my new fall items. It's nice to use that tank you love, but paired differently with a new cardigan or jacket. Fall is the season for new beginnings – new classes, new trends and new accessories. But, you also can’t forget about those summer pieces that treated you well throughout the last three months. Instead of putting together an entirely new wardrobe, I suggest adding a few key last season items. By mixing and matching, you'll get the most out of your favorite pieces.
I'm looking forward to seeing how new trends are brought into the college scene, like printed and colored denim and studded boots. Hopefully they will start popping up in classrooms throughout Dallas, PA for me to spot for the ACCESSORIES REPORT. One great thing about fall fashion is the endless supply of accessories available. Between new backpacks and messenger bags to wrap watches and printed flats no Fashionista will be without an accessory for me to spot!
After just one semester with CollegeFashionista I have developed a strong appreciation for the trends I've spotted around campus. I have already learned so much from talking with my fashionable classmates and I’m positive I will learn even more this semester. I can't wait to search the ever growing Misericordia campus for even more Fashionista's. Check out my weekly ACCESSORIES REPORT for the latest pieces!
