Canadian Thanksgiving has come and gone, but those students who stayed in Montreal for the holiday were blessed with all time high temperatures the whole weekend. The sun was shining and everyone shed their jackets (and their books) to lounge in the park and bike around the Plateau one last time.
I caught this Fashionista as she was cycling through Jeanne Mance Park, her tribal pants and knit crop top are casually perfect for a holiday weekend. From print accessories to oversized sweaters, tribal prints have been a huge trend the past couple months and have been spotted all over CollegeFashionista, This Fashionista proves that the rich patterns are equally fall appropriate, in a more muted color scheme of gold and brown they make sense against the turning leaves. Her particular pants are from Montreal boutique Olivia — however this tribal maxi dress and these bright shorts are patterned alternatives to layer a thick cardigan over. Her crop top is from recently opened Heritage Boutique on St Laurent — it is an eclectic mix of used and vintage and a good place to find more unique pieces.
This week’s Fashionista accessorizes with bronze and turquoise earrings, in a small size they don’t overwhelm the rest of the outfit. Pieces like these pants are a great student investment. They get fashionable attention but are so comfortable, and as perfect for biking to class as they are for sitting in class!
