This week's spotlight is on printed maxi skirts. I don't think there's another perfect way to turn all of your favorite tops into an amazing dressy ensamble for the day time than with a maxi skirt. This Fashionista decided to pair her amazing printed maxi skirt with a white button-down. Rolling the sleeves as she did here gives the look a bit more attitude and you can do the same for a similar flair. If you're unsure of the fit for your maxi, I suggest an A-line cut skirt. If you have wider hips, it will skim over any problem areas beautifully.
Also note this Fashionista's camel colored sandal wedges! This pair here from Charlotte Russe is very on trend for the fall. A nice comfortable wedge heel will help you get the height you're looking and help elongate your sillouete with mile long legs. So for all of you petite Fashionista's out there, you too can rock a maxi!
A few other things that I love about this outfit are the small details. Accessories really can make or break an outfit. I think this Fashionista did an amazing job finding ones that complemented her maxi skirt. The low slung, over the shoulder bag in maroon is striking enough to stand up to the print of her skirt. Another thing that stands out in this outfit are her amazing headphones. Not only do they match her skirt but they're a stylish way to listen to all of your favorite tunes as you walk to class. I'm not sure about other campuses, but here at MTSU we're all about matching headphones with our stylish wardrobes. The last few details I love are her aviator sunglasses. I honestly belive they flatter all face shapes. You can't go wrong with a pair, and this option here from ASOS is perfect. Now for the icing on the cake, her gourgeous red lip. This fall the runways have all showcased a red lip in every shade. It's one statement that will never go out of style; I suggest you try one like this stick called Electra from NYX.
