Style Advice of the Week

It’s time to take a walk on the wild side. At this point, leopard print is as classic as black and white and is a staple for every wardrobe. Last season, designers encouraged us to go all-out wild in head-to-toe animal inspiration as seen in Blumarine’s spring 2011 collection. But like this week’s Fashionista, subtle pops of the pattern is enough to make a statement. When you try this style, it’s always nice to keep the rest of your look simple and sleek. Whether it’s a slicked back up-do or minimal jewelry, you won’t risk looking like you’ve just trekked through the jungle. This Fashionista paired her leopard print shorts with a simple black shirt and added a touch of glamour with her gold necklace. My go-to leopard piece are my loafers but other versions are just as great! Other ways you could add pops of leopard is to wear pattern denim or cardigan.

As Rachel Zoe stated, “You need to have courage to wear leopard.”  And once you do, you’ll always be making a fierce fashion statement with your favorite feline.
