One trend that I love the most is print. I adore it. What I think appeals to me most is how one print can change the attitude and direction of the whole outfit. It can make a world of difference when it comes to wearing a simple top or bottom. This week’s Fashionista decided to take full advantage of the heat wave that Murfreesboro was experiencing to showcase this printed tunic. The tunic she's wearing has a multicolored pattern throughout and she kept the look simple by pairing it with her very stylish boots and a funky pair of red rimmed sunglasses.
Another thing to note is you can dress down a girly tunic like this much in the same way that she did with a cool pair of boots; very reminiscent of the hiking boots we see Fashionisto’s sporting throughout the winter. This tunic also reminds me of the spring and summer patterns that we see, and I think this can also be an example of how to add in warm weather staples to your fall wardrobe choices. Just remember to layer them on colder days with a nice chunky cardigan or jacket.
To recreate this look start with a patterned tunic like the one here from Old Navy or you can try this option here from Kohl's. Add your favorite pair of skinny jeans or you can try this fashionable favorite that's also budget friendly from Forever 21. If you're interested in a pair of stylish brown leather boots similar to this Fashionista’s try this pair here from Lulu's. Last but not least add a bold colored pair of sunglasses like these from ASOS and you are good to go. Have fun this week remixing spring and summer favorites to pair up with your fall staples.
