So cute, so proper and so ready for school! This Fashionista caught my eye with her outfit that captured the essence of a true student. I guarantee anyone who wears this style will gain quite a few IQ points (at least in the fashion world). The classic polka dotted shirt is by Madewell, a favorite of this Fashionista’s. Easy to throw on, the blouse is a sophisticated choice and I love that the buttons only go down half way adding a unique spin on a button down shirt. Tucked in tops are so in and create a flattering look. Simply tucking in a shirt make a regular outfit a fashionable one.
The color of the shirt brings out the shoes that are also from Madewell. The pointed toe and clearly Western inspired boot is one I have not seen many students wearing. Inspiration has definitely kicked in and I can’t wait to invest in something with Western influence. Madewell’s site also has an awesome “Gift Guide“ section that is great to peek through with the holiday season!
Winter wonderlands are on their way so to keep warm the Fashionista layered an opened cardigan over her must-be-seen stylish shirt. Cardigans have a great advantage to them because you are able to stay warm and bundled up while still being allowed to show off your cute top. This Fashionista was definitely in AP Fashion back in high school. The cardigan is from J.Crew. For more knowledge on cardigans this post is worth checking out.
You’ve been fooled — the pair of jeans is actually a pair of jeggings! My jaw dropped too. Free People make this pair of vintage jeggings along with many other pairs. Drooling over the site as your read this I am seeing endless amounts of crazy patterned jeggings including this intarsia pair.
Finally time to rave about this bag! It can change from a shoulder bag to a backpack in five seconds. The Fashionista said it comes in handy when her bag gets heavy. Unfortunately this bag cannot be seen on the Free People website, but as always I did my research! I found more convertible bags including this afordable one from YesStyle.
Let the wish list writing begin!
