STYLE GURU STYLE: Zuhair Murad

I decided to incorporate a simple chic summer look. Hats gave this runway show unexpected attitude. The woman wearing these clothes is young and modern, but elegant at the same time. My Crucia floppy hat from ALDO in the color nude is the perfect representation of the “unexpected attitude” Zuhair Murad establishes through his fashionable pieces. Although hats may seem tricky to add as an accessory, they are so versatile. You can wear it with a dress or pants. A hat can be the accessory that sets you apart. My nude floppy hat is one of the best go-to pieces, not only because you can find them in Coachella festival style to Harper’s Bazaar, but because they literally can go with anything. Plus, it is the ultimate protection from the sun. While framing the face they are also perfect for covering up those greasy roots from second day hair. May I also add they come in different shapes making it easy for anyone to get the right fit/material of hat, add your own personality and go all out.

Another standout piece is my pink choker also known as the classic bandana that you can find literally anywhere. Some of Zuhair’s models are giving props to the ’90s. I mean come on, we wouldn’t know the value of the choker if it weren’t for the ’90s. Adding a more urban twist to my outfit I went with the pink bandana choker. Why you may ask? Because there are literally about seventeen different ways you can wear this one dollar fashion trend.

Sticking with all white enhances the colors, textures and details on my bandana and my Dulci suede kitten heels from J.Crew that are based on an iconic style from the ’50s. These kitten heels are just right in height making them basically flats masquerading as heels. Experiment this summer and get creative!
