STYLE GURU STYLE: #YeezyTaughtMe

Whether you love him or you hate him, Kanye West is making millions off of his fashion line. Kanye markets himself so well that he could sell about anything, and people would still want to buy it. While his merchandise does sell, it is also very expensive. Don’t get me wrong, I do love splurging moments, but other times, you need to be a savvy shopper. Unfortunately for me, I do have a slight obsession with his collections. That being said, fake it till you make it.

When replicating Ye’s line the simpler, the better. I got this khaki, T-shirt dress from Zara. Zara is one of my favorites stores right now. Zara is perfect for light and airy style clothing. Yeezy is all about being oversized so when I saw this dress I thought it was a great fit. It has a wraparound tie so you can still show off your waist and not let it totally disappear. Although this dress does come in white, black and yellow, I bought the khaki color because it fits Kanye’s military futuristic theme. Anyone who knows me and my wardrobe, knows that I love neutral colors, so sticking to his color palette wasn’t too challenging for me.

Now onto my favorite part about this outfit! My knock off thigh-high Yeezy boots are from Ego Offical. They are also a great online store to shop on when looking for popular trends at a cheaper price. The great thing about these is that you would never know that they weren’t the real deal until you got up close and looked at the material and stitching. I have gotten numerous comments from girls mistaking these boots for the actual Yeezys. I am all for getting trends for less!
