As we all know, white is the color of purity, but it is also the color of perfection and completion. That is exactly how I feel when wearing this simple, stunning white dress. Not only does it bring out my summer tan, but also it is a very versatile dress with great potential (who doesn’t love a look you can wear anywhere?). I was really drawn to and inspired by Alexander Lewis’s resort 2016 collection because of the many white pieces.
Every Fashionista can appreciate a basic summer dress; it keeps us feeling feminine and classy. Dresses are playful clothing that we can make casual or fancy, depending on our mood. We can dress it up with a pair of our favorite heals and a shiny bracelet, or we can keep it casual with a pair of comfortable flats and a basic necklace. I chose to dress up my white fit and flare dress from TOBI with ‘Abalina’ platform pumps and an ocean teal bracelet, keeping the outfit simple.
Alexander Lewis’s looks in his collection were not overdone and that’s what I love about it. Sometimes, less is more when it comes to decorating an outfit. His collection was very feminine and some of the looks had a small touch of color, which I really found appealing. My feminine and sleek side could not help but be captivated and influenced by such a respectable designer.
