STYLE GURU STYLE: Versatile Activewear

Stylish activewear is a must-have in every college student’s wardrobe. It doesn’t matter if they are female or male; the more active, the more important it is to have the appropriate collection and selection. Whether one is going on a city run or on their way to a pilate’s class at the University’s newly renovated recreation center, it is always imperative to go in style. If you are someone who is normally active, it is essential to get high quality pieces to support your lifestyle. Activewear shouldn’t make you feel frumpy or even unfashionable, and that is why the adidas by Stella McCartney fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection stands out. adidas by Stella McCartney has floral prints to show off the feminine side to this stylish collection.

I put my spin on the adidas by Stella McCartney collection by picking out all of my favorite activewear pieces from my closet. The best thing about workout clothes is that they don’t have to be black on black anymore; activewear comes in a variety of styles and a whole palette of colors and patterns. I pulled out my lululemon Inspire Tight II run crops, which are a great pair of paints with a fun menthol color band and mesh, which provide great ventilation during a short or long workout. These are not only great while working out but also a perfect choice for even those mundane daily activities. The next piece I chose was an eye-catching lululemon jacket. The jacket is striking and has a herringbone dark gray and white design. Though I kept to neutral colors, adding a taste of color would be fun and work flawlessly.

To be able to bring along my full assortment of necessities to the gym, I found this Tory Burch Ella Nylon Tote in violet; it’s gorgeous yet functional. This tote is perfect if I need to come from classes carrying a full load of books. Check out all the major brands like adidas, Nike, lululemon, Zella and more to find that perfect activewear outfit that looks good in so many situations.
