STYLE GURU STYLE: Valentine Makeup

Somehow it’s already February which means Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Not only is dressing up fun but so is doing your makeup, whether you are going on a date or staying in with your girlfriends. For this look, I wanted to add some pink touches to go with the valentines theme but not go overboard.

For my face makeup, I used my favorite foundation which is the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Makeup. I then used my NYX Gotcha Covered Concealer to cover up my under eyes and any unwanted spots. To mattify my face, I use the Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder with a kabuki brush. One of my favorite products used in this look is my Naked Urban Decay Flushed palette because it has bronzer, blush, as well as a highlight. It adds just the right amount of color to my face especially with the pink blush and warm toned bronzer.

Onto the eyes—you always have to prime them so the eyeshadow lasts all night! I used the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Then, onto the fun part! For my eyeshadow, I used my Urban Decay Naked 2 pallette. On my outer lid, I put the color Tease and blended it with Busted. I then used colors like YDK, Suspect, Copper, and Half Baked in my inner lid. Then, I put Bootycall up by my brow to lighten up the look. I decided to skip eyeliner to keep the look light. I added a touch of mascara and finished off the look with a pink lip gloss.

For my outfit, I kept it simple with a gray sweater from Zara, maroon pants, and added the color pink again with a scarf. I hope this makeup look inspired you for Valentine’s Day!
