STYLE GURU STYLE: V-A-line-tino

Time to face reality. As much as we hate to admit it, it’s no secret that summer is going by way too fast, which can only mean one thing: fall is right around the corner. Besides the terrorizing fact that school is about to start again (yup, bear some more bad news, Paula), the good thing about the approach of fall is that it’s officially time to take a walk down fashion week memory lane and remember all the fall 2015 ready-to-wear collections that we all fell in love with not so long ago.

The Valentino fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection was unquestionably a showstopper. Whimsical prints, black and white creations, culottes, glamorous coats, beautiful gowns (that’s an understatement) and A-line skirts were just a few of the numerous amazing pieces that models walked in down the runway at the show that took place during Paris Fashion Week. The collection took the fashion world by storm…but come to think of it, we are talking about Maison Valentino, so I wouldn’t have expected anything less from the beyond talented Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Feeling greatly inspired by the black and white elements of this collection and by my favorite trend of the moment, A-line skirts, for this look I wore a beautiful midi white skirt with a sheer black loose tank top and a pair of lace-up black leather heels that will forever and always be my obsession. As for my accessories, I kept things simple by wearing a pair of black Christian Dior cat-eye sunglasses, a silver bracelet with a floral design, a few silver rings and my gorgeous Marc Jacobs purple quilted purse.

All I can say about this look is that I’m sort of, kind of obsessed with it. Plain and simple. Valentino, you’re the best.

Get My Look: 1. A-line white skirt. 2. Marc Jacobs quilted purse. 3. Lace-up heels.
