STYLE GURU STYLE: Trail Mix

I heed interest in multicultural fashion and arts. Personally, I enjoy assimilating styles that come from abroad and have a mix and match fashion trend from all around the world. The stated reason is why I took interest in the Chanel fall 2015 ready-to-wear runway. Chanel incorporated a lot of Eastern styles into the looks with their diamonds and textured fabrics. This runway influenced my choice of clothing as I picked a dress with different patterns that resembles the geometric shapes that are used within Arabia. Triangles, pentagons, hexagons, lines and diamonds are all used to form floral prints using white and black to create a negative space appeal to the design on my chosen MNG outfit.

I decided to mix my Arabian style with a Renaissance look and added a matching colored pair of lace-up gladiator heels that has beautifully crafted Oriental designs etched into the pair. I decided to add some pop of color with my Yves Saint Laurent ‘Rouge Volupte Shine’ Lipstick as well as with my bracelet that is once again, Middle Eastern-inspired.

I would definitely head to a beach club with this look or attend a barbecue with the geometric prints and mix-it-up fashion. This was a cute and fun look to put together for me as I think I mastered my multi-cultural trend I had in mind!  Try adding something different into the outfit such as a hat, scarf, purse or even some foreign styled jewelry!
