STYLE GURU STYLE: The Rad Team

Athletic-wear has been a huge trend recently. I lot of designers are heading down the comfortable “varsity team” route and I am all for it. It is a look that really suits my style and is really easy to put together when rushing to class.

I took inspiration for the new Kanye x adidas collaboration collection. The collection channels earth toned colors and comfy yet stylish vibes. In the collection there are a bunch of bomber jackets and oversized tops. Oh, and if you look closely, you might just spot Kylie Jenner walking the runway!

For my look, I wore a white striped high-neck top, which to me, really incorporates the sportswear trend. To class, I normally like wearing simple Brandy Melville T-shirts or crewnecks because its so easy and quick. When I wear real shirts, I feel like I have to spend more time styling my outfit to make the shirt pop. This shirt is a perfect alternative because the striped detailing makes its own statement and no addition styling or statement jewelry is necessary.

I paired this dope top with some black mens joggers (yes, I sometimes shop in the mens section) because why wear pants if joggers are an option! Joggers are basically trendy sweatpants and for my 9:00am class on Thursday, anything similar to sweatpants sounds perfect!

These chunky heeled booties have saved my life this winter. They are my go-to shoes for almost every type of outfit because they are super easy to walk in and can enhance a look within minutes. I accessorized with my large Herschel backpack for my class essentials, some Ray-bans, a little top bun and the nude lip I talked about in February’s CollegeFashionista Beauty Bar episode (go check it out if you haven’t already).

Get My Look: 1.The striped high-neck white top. 2. Cozy black joggers. 3. Large gray Herschel backpack.
