Hey there, Fashionista! I’m sharing one of my favorite casual trends that I’ve found recently: the simple, yet oh so cute T-shirt dress. I grabbed this one from Altar’d State, and you can find one just like mine in a super pretty fall color right here. Although I paired mine with these espadrilles, I’m thinking that once the weather cools down, it would be absolutely perfect with riding boots and a vest. I love trends that are versatile for every season, and this T-shirt dress is just that. Since we’re currently in that weird transition to fall because it’s September, yet it’s still 80 degrees outside, this lightweight scarf ties the outfit together perfectly. The combination is comfortable for the current weather conditions, yet it is fall appropriate as well.
This outfit was inspired by the Osklen Spring 2016 collection which features a ton pieces that flow but aren’t baggy, as well as a lot of this green-blue color tone. It’s laid back but still looks chic, which is my favorite combination in any look.
I don’t always wear dresses to class, but this one is pretty much made for long days spent in lecture halls. It is super comfortable and flattering, but you will feel put together and ready for any conversations that might come your way. So, when you’re in your closet at 8:00 a.m. deciding between your high school spirit T-shirt or looking fabulous…welcome to the best of both worlds, girlfriend. This T-shirt dress is your new best friend, and I have a feeling you two are going to get along wonderfully.
P.S. I love big totes as an alternative to backpacks because they hold all of your notebooks and your computer, but they are super chic. I am totally obsessed with this one from Target. It’s less than $30 and it’s reversible…helllllooooo perfection.
