Imagine yourself waking up in your college apartment in the next few weeks and being too tired to get dressed. Hmm…sounds like a relatable thought to me. Who doesn’t want to be able to look chic in their own pajamas? Well, this fall 2014 couture line by designer Giambattista Valli essentially gives the same effect. Valli’s critics describe his look as the utilization of everything that may be around you while waking up for your daily ensemble. Items like sheets around your head and pajama tops matched with more sheets? This sounds like craziness, but these looks are effortless. I personally didn’t choose to wear a sheet on my head. Although, I definitely considered the soft feel of linen sheets when pulling inspiration for my look.
I am loving the sky blue and neutral combination for that end-of-summer last impression. And with that, I chose to utilize this color combination in one of my last looks of the summer! I chose to wear a button-down that’s purpose is solely on the office. However, if you have a top like this in your pajama drawer, I give you full permission to push the boundaries on its main terrain of your sleeping barracks. I added a statement necklace to boost the casual look of this boyfriend fit button-down. This puts more emphasis on a structured collar. And essentially, a better run at a structured look!
I chose to wear a white short with a high-waist. Therefore, I was able to unbutton my top for an untucked, uncensored look. This is a great option for a button-down that has the length of a tunic. Forget the usual side slit. This is not quite a crop top, yet, a revolutionized midriff-bearing top.
Sunglasses are essential for this effortless look. It is the perfect outfit to utilize your favorite accessory to Instagram. Try a new frame for an edgier look. Chic shades are sure to boost your wardrobe, as well as your attitude. As seen in my previous articles: my kitten heels. These are bound to put a little pep in your step. Every Fashionista should have a pair of one-inch heels for strutting around campus. Besides, someone needs to bring the old Hollywood glamour back. I know you’re just the Fashionista to do it.
