Fall time is finally upon us and in full swing. That means fashion trends are finally starting to make their ways towards everyones favorite season (at least that’s what I like to think). Although this outfit features shorts, I think this jacket I am wearing is the perfect transitioning piece between summer and fall time.
Two of the biggest upcoming trends I have seen emerge over the course of this summer is silk fabric and bomber jackets. These trends have quickly made their way into fall and I couldn’t be more excited to see everyone rockin it.
For this look I decided to follow both of these upcoming trends. I paired a bronze/champagne silk bomber jacket with a simple black V-neck T-shirt and of course my favorite pair of handmade Levi high-wasted denim shorts. By keeping the majority of this outfit simple I was then able to add black and white checkered slip-on Vans to give the outfit a funky twist.  These shoes have also became a supper trendy item lately, I have been seeing everyone wearing, them from celebrities to even my guy friends. Lastly I complimented the outfit with one of my all time favorite pieces of jewelry, a black lace choker.
I think this outfit is perfect for the weekends or hanging out with friends. It is simple yet the silk bomber jacket dresses up the outfit and gives it a classier look. Since the jacket is fitted around you’re wrists and waist, it allows for a more fitted and put together look. The silk fabric gives of a chic and elegant vibe as well.
