We all want to achieve that effortless look without putting in much effort. Sometimes we are in a hurry or just feel too lazy to put time in getting dress. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean we have to sacrifice our appearance. Fortunately, the world of fashion is inundated with pieces for any mood and occasion, even the I-don’t-want-to-try-but-still-want to-look-good looks. The Lulu & Co spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection perfectly achieves this mindset.
Combining dressy and casual wear pieces, this collection focuses its energy on comfortable, edgy everyday wear. Whether you’re going to an evening party, hanging out with friends or just taking a nice stroll, you can’t go wrong with picking any of these pieces.
I wanted to surround my outfit around this collection’s edgy everyday wear. Opting for a crochet top and grid shorts gave me the opportunity to play around with different textures and patterns while still achieving a balance of a dressy but casual look. Many of the collection’s pieces gave off that cool factor, so for a grungier and edgy element, I wore my bulky black boots with knee-high socks, which I scrunched down. As for the small details, I added a floral headband for pops of color, a cute necklace and a dark lip to complement the dark shades in my look.
