STYLE GURU STYLE: Roman Goddess

As I watched the haute couture runway shows this spring one designer that really stood out to me way Chloé. I know many people were inspired by this show, but that is for wonderful reasons. Chloé as a brand has made a huge comeback in the past year. I believe this growth comes from the fact that the ’70s are huge right now! Chloé was a very popular design house in the ’70s, so it makes sense that it would make such a great comeback right now.

Not only has this brand made a comeback, but, they have done a tremendous job at it! Their show was full of flowing silhouettes and an array of colors that can be suited for anyone’s wardrobe. They also used gorgeous fabrics to add texture and dimension to each garment. I think the most spectacular part of their spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection is that the styles are great for your mega boho-inspired Coachella goer and your classic best friend. Anyone can find a piece of inspiration from this collection.

To recreate a look from their runway, I first found these amazing gladiator sandals. On the runway these shoes really tied all of the outfits together and helped keep the collection cohesive. Then, I found this super cute dress. I love the muted neutral colors and the cute babydoll silhouette. This dress has a great pattern as well which is what really made it perfect for me. Then for accessories I added a simple light pink bracelet to add just a little bit of color, a brown ’70s style bag (this was actually my mom’s from the ’80s, I believe) and very simple earrings to add some sparkle. I had a lot of fun putting together this outfit. The more I experiment with ’70s fashions and bohemian styles, the more I LOVE them!

Get My Look: 1. Gladiator Sandals. 2. An adorable dress. 3. A simple handbag.
